This past weekend has been very emotional. I don’t think I have read this many rape stories in such a short space of time. As a woman my heart couldn’t take it and I actually had try to log off Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. I can’t even imagine how the women who have been through such cruelty will feel. These stories were triggered by Busola Dakolo’s heart wrenching interview sharing her rape story.
When I first watched it, I was filled with rage and anger for many reasons. I have been abused as a child and also Busola has a special place in my heart.
