A living Prophesy .

Hello Women all around the blogosphere, it’s another Wednesday for celebrating Womanhood (CWW) Celebrating Womanhood Wednesday. I know it’s been a very long time, like a year or more since I wrote anything on womanhood. Well, let’s just say life happened.

celebrating womanhood

Woohoo!! I am back here again, and I am super excited about great things that will unravel as we journey together on this platform, celebrating us as women who are God’s original design to influence our world.

The other day I was at a women’s fellowship, where women from all works of life gather together every other month to learn at God’s feet- A Teaching ministry for women. After the meeting, it was time for networking, meet and greet. I finally met someone, whom I had connected with via the social media, for the first and she gave me a book.  I started reading the book about two days ago, oh my word, it’s such a loaded gem.

I can boldly say that it’s what I am supposed to be reading at this point in my life and at this season. which brings me to the topic of discussion tonight.

Our lives as women are not happenstance, I mean, everything that happens is as a result of a calculated sequence of experience leading up to one another, so that God’s holy and perfect plans for our lives can be accomplished.

If I had not attended that meeting, I would have missed an opportunity to make a new friend, and it wasn’t just making a new friend that I would be gifted with a tool that is very necessary to my next level. That fellowship of women from different backgrounds and social status was put together to help women realize that we are not a bunch of meaning statistics in an overcrowded and competitive world, but that each woman has been endowed with great capacities and capabilities to blaze trails in whatever area she desires.

That is the way we have all been divinely wired, there are series of prophecies wrapped around every woman and daily in our everyday life we play out the scripts that were written by God himself. let’s check the scriptures: Heb10: 5-6,

Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body You have prepared for me……… then, I said, Behold, I have come- in the volume of the book it is written of me—to do your will, O God.

This is one of my best personal scriptures, it connotes the fact that our lives here had been carefully scripted by God -The author of life Himself.

To the woman reading this post I dare say that you are a living prophecy, and God your father is catalyzing the occurrence of everything that He has ordained from before you were formed in your mother’s womb, so stop living life without purpose and start living with deliberateness and intentionality because you are not an afterthought, you are not a mistake, You are womb-man, with eternal deposits to change the world.

It is time to start living out every  positive spoken word about you, it is time to live your life in readiness for the promptings to great achievement just like the women in the Bible, Deborah, Hannah, Rahab who despite her social status, readily aligned her life to God and became one of the ancestors in the lineage of the Messiah Christ.

It is no longer a function of what you’ve done in the past, or what you’ve been through, all of those experiences were designed to make you better and stronger- The best version of You.

Woman, you are loved and celebrated!

The Women Who Are Too Much!

God peeped out of the window of His vast heaven.

Looked down to see His pretty jewels

The heavens beamed with Joy

When the Holder and Owner of the Universe

Paused to look at Eve(s) with such pure joy

This one-Co-creator with the Creator

His Prized Possession.

He beheld Us In Her.

We are  my Father’s  daughters

We are the  women who are too much!

A woman is God’s precious creation

Full of potentials

A Leader in her own right.

To all the women who are too much

It’s time to take stock of your life

Live your best life now

Live it to the fullest.

We are woman

We are too much

We are God’s extension of Love

Woman, You are loved , appreciated and Celebrated.

Dear Daughter, Don’t Let them Define You!

Every Wednesday I write a post focusing on celebrating womanhood at all levels, today I couldn’t write any because my eyes are kind of heavy from reading, but I found this post interesting and courageous, If I had a biological daughter this is apt, So to all daughters and sisters and all women. Have a good read.

Dear God, I Need a Friend.

A big shout out to all the amazing women all over the world, being themselves and doing it amazingly. It’s another Wednesday, another exciting episode of #Celebratingwomanhood.

A few days ago, I told my husband that I was inviting my friend over for lunch, the next day after Sunday Service, and of course his response was, “You are now telling me on Saturday evening?

Well, telling him late wasn’t intentional , I guess I just couldn’t get round to telling him on time, because this friend in question is not someone in our collective circle of friends.

To my feminine mindset, I wanted my Husband to know the new kids on the block that I have been spending some time with in the last few months, and it was proper for me to bring one or two over to the house- A deliberate attempt on my part!

I remember, the first time I took this friend of mine out with her other friend, it was the first time for me , to take a girlfriend out ,where we just chill out and bonded as we gor to unwind,I have been invited out severally especially with the children, but that day was the first time I will take one or two girlfriends out .

You may find the title of this blog resonates in your heart, for most of us it does. Apart from letting God be your best friend through His Son, Jesus.I believe  strongly that He is very much interested in the kind of company we keep, because at the end of the day , the bottom line of every form of relationship is that God is honored and glorified through our friendship and that we also impact and Influence our circle of influence through such.

The plague of discontentment.

celebrating womanhood

Every woman I know has had to deal with the plague of discontentment at one point or the other, deep within us is that cry for more! Which makes us dissatisfied with the present situation we find ourselves.

As women, we are known to complain about everything, at every stage of life, no matter the status we are in.we are dissatisfied when we see other women doing the things we desire,  and looking all together without any problem. (sounds too good to be true though!

But the truth of the matter is this, no matter how much we have, there will always be someone who has more. Discontentment is a general disease plaguing not only the money-challenged people,or the uneducated, even the very rich and affluent ones  suffer discontentment.

Why are discontented? The picture that comes to my mind as I write is the occurrence in the garden of Eden, between the Woman and the serpent. Genesis 3:1-5, notice the trend of the discuss in verse 4 and 5

You will not surely die’, the snake said to the woman. 5. ‘For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God,knowing good and evil.

That right there, was the root of the plague that has caused many havoc to humanity , Comparison! whatever our areas of discontent today, it all stemmed from comparison.

A plus size woman, is trying to compare herself with a size 8 woman, and she believes that the reason why the whole world is collapsing on her is because she’s fat, on the other hand, the figure 8 lady is looking at the ‘fatty’ bum bum and thinking,” if I can just have some extra fat from her, maybe I would be fine’. The comparison has begun , and it goes on and on and on.

Women, why are we discontented? because most of the time what or who we compare ourselves with, is sometimes unreal. we pick one aspect of someone’s life that seems to be working well, and try to compare it with that area of ours that is messy and out of shape, forgetting that there is no such thing as perfect…….for as long as we are still on this side of the earth realm!

Let’s go back to Genesis again, who told the woman that she wasn’t like God already, how come she needed the serpent to  twist things for her, because that’s exactly what the serpent did, he twisted the truth, and still does till day.

She was already made in the image and likeness of God already, she was already a god,but that’s a topic for another post, what I am trying to bring out of this is that, everytime we try to compare ourselves with ourselves as Apostle Paul puts it,we miss out a truth that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the lawn.

You are dissatisfied because you think Linda has a perfect body and in good shape that why everything is working for her , what you don’t know is that behind closed doors, Linda is wishing she were you, because every time she sees you playing with the children who has caused that extra fat in your body (as you claim),she has an ache in heart that just won’t go away.

As women, how can we deal with this plague?

It is a matter of having the right attitude, we can conquer the plague  called ‘discontentment’ if we choose to. Because when we truly conquer it, then we begin to fully live life to the fullest. It is not about getting the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, it begins with appreciating the rainbow first.

As a Singerminister, I was plagued with discontentment, I would watch how my female counterparts were being invited ,and being all over the place, and things are happening for them,  at the back of my mind I would be wishing I was in their shoes, this went on for a while,Until I came to myself, after a hard time talking  God and pouring my heart out, because I didn’t like the negative energy that was coming out of me, it took a while to get out it,but gradually I began to embrace myself and the journey of my calling/career.

There are days I still want to do the comparison check ,but it’s no longer a stronghold that hindered me from being me and enjoying every moment, more so now that I know better, that I have been uniquely created to solve a specific assignment, and my journey cannot be like another woman’s journey even if it looked like we are doing the same thing, there is still something unique that separates us- It is that Unique Rarity  in us that we should celebrate, we must not try to compare or compete with one another.

Instead, we ought as women at whatever strata of life we may find ourselves, we must always celebrate who we are individually and collectively, knowing that our framework and design is peculiar to each of us.

Afterall, we are all of us complete!

I celebrate you, woman!

However, you are, wherever you are, whatever you are!

We are all of us complete, we do not compare us with us, we complement us, we build us for maximum impact and influence  so that our Heavenly Father will be proud of us as his partners in the business of creation.

To all the Women  creating values in the homefront, in the corporate world,in the media,
